HARTFORD POLICE SERGEANT TO BE HONORED BY
HPD HISPANIC OFFICERS ASSOCIATION

 

(Hartford) - On Thursday, March 20, 2008, the Hartford Police Department's Hispanic Officers Association will honor Hartford Police Sergeant Glendaly Macci, the first Hispanic female to be promoted to the rank of sergeant in the history of the Hartford Police Department.

A ten year veteran of the HPD, Sergeant Macci has served in the Patrol Division, the Crime Scene Division, and with the North PSA. Sergeant Macci currently serves as a Headquarters Sergeant in the Patrol Division.

The event, sponsored by the HPD's Hispanic Officers Association, will be held at the EI Capriccio Restaurant, 628 Franklin Avenue, Hartford, beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20th.

The HPD Hispanic Officers Association, founded in 1984, has a current membership of approximately seventy members.
