The membership of the Association shall consist of sworn Hartford Police Officers (Charter Members), and Civilians (Affiliated Members).
a. Charter Members are sworn Hartford Police officers and have full membership privileges, including the ability to hold office. Dues are payroll deducted.
b. Affiliate or Associate Members – are civilians, sworn officers from other police departments which support the mission of HOA. These members shall have full membership privileges but are not eligible to hold office. Dues are paid are $20.00 and should be paid in full to the association on a monthly basis.
c. Lifetime Member - Any Charter of Affiliated Member who has been a member in good standing and paid dues for twenty consecutive years, shall be deemed “Lifetime Member,” and shall not pay any further dues after their twentieth year.
